Mission Statement

Kids Pointe and Kids Pointe Jr. exist to communicate the good news of the Gospel clearly to boys and girls and to show them the love of Jesus. We do this by sharing the big picture of the Bible (Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration) in a relatable way all while fostering a loving and safe environment so that each child can understand their need for salvation through Jesus.

KidsPointe

Sunday Groups - 9 am | Worship - 10:40 am

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
Join us each Sunday morning at 9:00am for KidsPointe Life Groups and 10:30 am for Kids Pointe Children's worship. Life Groups are divided by children's grades, and Worship is combined Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
A typical Sunday in Kids Pointe includes; Worship, a large group lesson where they learn biblical truths through videos, teachings, object lessons, games, and more, as well as some stage games.

Kidspointe JR

Sundays - 9 and 10:40 am

Birth through Pre-K
It is our privilege to care for your children regular church services and events. We want them to interact through games, crafts, and fun.  KidsPointe Jr meets at 9:30am and 10:40 am each Sunday in their age-appropriate classrooms.
We know leaving your young child in someone else's care can be stressful. Our KidsPointe staff is trained and prepared to make every drop-off a loving and easy process.
Our preschool-aged program encourages children to learn the Bible through engaging stories, games, and activities that make the Bible come alive.

AWANA

Wednesdays - 6:30 pm

AWANA is our kids program every Wednesday night from 6:30pm to 7:45pm during the school year for kids aged 2 years old - 5th grade!
Through the AWANA curriculum, kids memorize scripture, earn badges and grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus as they go through their AWANA books. While they work on scripture memorization, they will also play games and hear a lesson from one of their class' teachers.

Common Questions

What do I bring for my child?
For children infant to potty trained age, we suggest you bring:
  • Diaper Bag
  • Diapers/Wipes
  • Bottles
  • Pacifier and clip
  • Drinking cups
  • A change of clothes
  • Blanket/Comfort Item
What is the check-in process?
We primarily use our church app for check-in to make the process simple for our parents.
1. Upon first check-in, parents enter their info, and their child's info, into one of our check-in iPads and check their child into their corresponding class.
2. Once your child is checked in, a sticker with a one-time code will be printed that you keep with you to be turned into a volunteer at the time of pickup.
3. If you have already downloaded our church app, the code will automatically populate in the app to be shown at checkout.
4. After you have checked in one time using the app, you will have the option each week to pre-check in your child an hour before check-in is open. Once you pre-check your child's information in the app, a QR code will pop up and you can scan that at a check-in iPad once you arrive.
A Note About Security
East Pointe uses a Printed Badge system for the children and all East Pointe volunteers have an up-to-date background check. Children are to be brought to the age-appropriate room by a parent and will only be released to the parent or legal guardian with their one-time code given at check-in.
