Everyone deserves a full life, but the busyness of daily life for a mom can get in the way. Mom, here is your chance to get some fresh air!
What is MOPS?
MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mother of preschoolers. Moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS believes that you are doing something of incredible worth – you are a mother and mothering matters! God also stands by your side and loves you during this wondrous and challenging season of raising your children. Come meet other moms and build relationships. Any mother of a preschooler is welcome to attend regardless of religious belief or denomination.
When does MOPS meet?
September 8 & 22, October 13 & 27, November 10 & 24, December 8, January 12 & 26, February 9 & 23, March 9 & 23, April 13 & 27, May 11 & 25
Meeting dues are $5.00. You can pay per meeting, per month, or pay for the year. The meetings' dues help to cover our childcare workers, crafts, guest speaker, etc.
Our MOPS group will also have scheduled play-dates on the 3rd Tuesday of each month: September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15, January 19, February 16, March 16, April 29 and May 18.
What goes on at the meetings?
Each meeting has a theme dealing with the unique issues and challenges facing MOPS moms. MOPs meetings are designed to be not only informative, but allow for the formation of new relationships and connecting with other moms. Small groups are an integral part of this design. We hope to provide a safe, loving atmosphere that affords moms productive time away from their children and the answers to many of parenting's biggest challenges. Join us on Planet Mom for the 2009 - 2010 school year.
Who takes care of my MOPPETS?
Upon joining your child/ren become MOPPETS. We use professional childcare workers to care for our MOPPETS. They’ll enjoy Bible lesson time, snack time, craft time, and play time. This provides an opportunity for our preschoolers to experience Christ’s love through the MOPPETS ministry.
